Join us for the release of the fifth edition of the Economic Issues for Women in Texas report on Thursday, November 21, 9:00-11am, at the T. Boone Pickens Institute for Health Sciences at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas.
This year’s research highlights the pivotal role women play in the Texas economy – the strongest in the nation. It also illuminates the critical need to address the challenges that threaten women’s economic stability and security: access to health care and health insurance; affordable child care, education and stable housing.
Most importantly, the report includes policy recommendations aimed at employers, community leaders and lawmakers to help drive the social and economic changes necessary to allow Texas women and girls to thrive.
