Orchid Giving Circle via Dallas Morning News
The Orchid Giving Circle Fund at Dallas Women’s Foundation is going strong. Launched just last year, the nonprofit is modeled after many successful Asian giving circles nationwide.
The mission of the circle is to pool resources from its members to provide community grants that support social change and services for North Texas Asians. The nonprofit gave out its inaugural grants last December to four groups. This year, the circle presented five grants of $15,000 each on Thursday at the Crow Collection of Asian Art.
