Economic Issues for Women in Texas received the Community Indicators Consortium’s 2015 Impact Award for using data to engage diverse audiences around the issue of women’s economic security. Dallas Women’s Foundation Economic Security Director, Lauren Blitzer, accepted the global award on November 10, 2015, and participated in a panel sharing the vision and goals for the research and ways collaboration between statewide and local organizations can increase community impact to achieve a common understanding of what is necessary for women to move from surviving to thriving.
