Background: On June 28, 2019 from 7:00pm-9:00pm, the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum in Austin will present a program titled Suffrage Centennial: Texas Women and the Right to Vote. This free event will commemorate the centennial of Texas’ ratification of the 19th amendment. Celina Stewart, LWVUS Director of Advocacy and Litigation is a featured speaker. The program will coincide with the opening of an exhibition in the Museum gallery exploring the history of Women’s suffrage.
