Texas Women’s Foundation, located in Dallas, has announced two additions to their staff. Lisa de la Garza joins the foundation as vice president – programs and Ashley Harris is vice president – development.
“We are delighted to welcome Lisa and Ashley to our team and know that their outstanding expertise and successful records as leaders will catalyze even greater momentum around our mission to advance women’s economic security and women’s leadership, especially as we expand statewide,” said Roslyn Dawson Thompson, Texas Women’s Foundation president and chief executive officer.
Ms. de la Garza has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, community development, fundraising and advocacy. Previously, she served as executive director and chief executive officer of Trauma Support Services of North Texas where she provided leadership and guidance in expanding services and programs across the Metroplex, including free, trauma-informed counseling to victims of crime and trainings to licensed clinicians and community partners throughout Texas.
Ms. Harris brings 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, consulting, management and litigation. Following a 10-year career as a litigation paralegal at Winstead and Bank of America, she began her second career raising money as a nonprofit fundraising consultant with Dini Spheris.
